I am filled with dread

Mes Amis

All I will say for now is that you should start crossing fingers and toes.

Russel has taken a step forward that he never thought he would.

He will not say more on the matter. Not until there is something to actually say.

We now return you to the usual nonsense.

Au revoir

Russel

We can commiserate or celebrate together, friend.

Don't tell me - you decided to give up the French and embrace your culture by eating Haggis and blood pudding.

If that's all it took to extricate the French from me I'd even do it. Of course, if you took the French out of me, I'd have no surname. So, I guess I'm stuck.

You're getting the operation?

Don't let them chop off Little Russel!

I'm not sure whether would commiserate or celebrate that, Stuart...

But I'll bear your advice in mind...

When writers speak of themselves and their actions in the third person, it can only mena one thing: a change in medication.
