Oui, Oui... not on my blog you don't!

Mes Amis

Rather appropriately, considering my salutations round here:

France Modern (trois fleurs-de-lis)
You are 'French'. In the nineteenth century, it
was the international language of diplomacy.
It is a 'beautiful' language, meaning that it
is really just a low-fidelity copy of Latin.
You know the importance of communicating
'diplomatically', which for you means both
being polite and friendly when necessary and
using sophisticated, vicious sarcasm when
appropriate. Your life is guided by either
existentialism or nihilism, depending on the
weather. You have a certain appreciation for
the finer things in life, which is a diplomatic
way of saying that you are a disgusting
hedonist. Your problem is that French has been
obsolete for a long time.

What obsolete skill are you?
brought to you by Jen, who always seems to provide these great timewasting quizzes.

Au revoir

Russel

Did you mean to make the end of that post an ingenious puzzle in which you can only read it by copy & pasting it to Notepad or similar?
Or has my browser gone mental again?
Oh, and, as Stuart said, 'You don't look French'.

I don't know, in the right light I think his chin looks French.

In a certain light his beard has a certain je ne sais pas....

Mike

Blogger seems to react badly to my copying and pasting code. So things get fucked (to use a technical term) when I try it.

For those who aren't as savvy as Mike I was just thanking Jen for being the originator (as ever) of such a fun way to waste time. Actually when I need an excuse as to why I'm behind with my manuscripts I know who to blame for constantly posting funky quizzes on her blog...

And I like the idea of having a French chin... I'm not sure why, I just do...

I, too, have discovered that what I thought was latent Frenchness has moved to the fore! Je ne sais blah!

No worries Russel, I just thought my browser was playing tricks on me (it's been doing that a lot lately).

And, to the poster of the quizzes - many thanks for something to do at work between dealing with [insert descriptive word here] customers...
