What I hate about writing outlines...

Mes Amis

Writing an outline for a novel or a story is tough going. Story beats aren't so bad, but when the novel relies on emotion for its affect, its tough to communicate that in a synopsis.

However, I shall persevere.

In the meantime, check out this article on French fiction and UK audiences' reaction to works in translation...

Fiction in translation is not an easy sell to us Brits, and French fiction is perhaps the hardest sell of all.

When ever I use outlines I usually write all around them within pages. Is it the outside the lines mentality?

Or ADHD?
