Stage one of the intensive redrafting of THE GOOD SON is over. Major plot changes, new characters, POV twisting and all kinds of fun take it from 66,000 to 80,000. Some of the changes I am very happy with. Others I hope work but I'm not sure. Now I just gotta go through it all to make sure it makes sense before it heads onto Editor Emma who can then tell me how badly it all sucks.
Us Scots are born optimists, ya know!
So now onto updating CSS...

You know 80k is just half a MacBride book, don't you? In fact, Stuart has been known to write 80k in an afternoon.
