I'm the last person to post, probably, but I had to mention that Mr Allan Guthrie - top writer, agent, and all round great fella - is on the shortlist for best PBO in this year's Edgar awards. If you want to know what I thought of the book up for award (Kiss Her Goodbye) go here to read my CSS review. Basically this is one novel that's deserving of recognition as Al (Or should we call him Mr Guthrie now as a mark of respect?) writes some of the toughest Scots fiction I've read in a long time.
